I grew up in Sikeston with my parents and older sister, Ashley.  I come from a family of teachers; my mom is the elementary math coach for the Sikeston district and my sister teaches second grade in Kansas City, Missouri.  I graduated from Sikeston High School in 2008, and then continued my education at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri.  I graduated with honors from MSU in May 2012.   I graduated from William Woods University with a Masters in Elementary Administration in May 2014.  This school year will be my fifth year of teaching. 

My husband and I have lived in Sikeston for 4 years now.  We are expecting our baby boy, Max, to be here at the beginning of the school year. Our fur baby, Sophi, is excited to become a big sister! 

Outside of school, I like to spend time with my family!
