BSIP

As many of you know, the district has been working diligently to update our CSIP (Comprehensive School Improvement Plan). At the same time, each building works to complete a BSIP (Building School Improvement Plan), that is aligned with the CSIP. This past summer, volunteer teachers and administrators met to get started on certain components of our plan. We have continued this process, inviting all stakeholders to a planning meeting in October and finalizing our plan with our Leadership Team throughout the first semester. We will continue to monitor our building's growth the second semester. Our BSIP is a plan that is based around goals or objectives. Our three building goals are as follows:

Goal 1: By May 2023, the percentage of students scoring proficient or advanced on each MAP assessment will show a 2% increase from May 2022 scores.

Goal 2-Lee Hunter students will show a 5% increase in Aimsweb Composite scores on the Spring 2023 Benchmark when compared to the composite scores from the Spring 2022 Aimsweb Benchmark.

Goal 3: We will increase active engagement which will decrease negative student behaviors by establishing expectations through the Ron Clark House System, Safe and Civil Schools, Champion Teaching, and District Continuous Improvement (DCI) as measured by NEE indicators 5.2, and 5.3b with teachers scoring an average of 4.4.

If you would like to view the entire plan, please feel free to contact the school. We will be more than happy to share it with you.
